Centre for SWAYAM Portal

Gyan Ganga College of Excellence is pleased to introduce the Centre for SWAYAM Portal, a student-focused initiative aimed at promoting the use of digital learning resources offered by the Government of India. SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active–Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) is an innovative platform by the Ministry of Education designed to ensure that the best teaching and learning resources reach every learner.
The Centre will function as a support and facilitation hub, helping students and faculty make the most of the diverse courses and certifications available on the SWAYAM portal.

By launching the Centre for SWAYAM Portal, Gyan Ganga College of Excellence reinforces its commitment to digital empowerment, skill-based education, and academic innovation aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Purpose of the Centre

• To familiarize students with the SWAYAM platform and its benefits.
• To assist students in enrolling for online courses offered by leading institutions like IITs, IIMs, and Central Universities.
• To provide guidance for completing online certifications that enhance career readiness and academic knowledge.
• To integrate SWAYAM courses with the college’s curriculum as per UGC guidelines.
• To organize orientation sessions, workshops, and help desks for students and faculty.

• Conducting regular awareness sessions on how to use the SWAYAM platform.
• Creating a support system to track student progress and offer mentorship.
• Recognizing and celebrating students who successfully complete SWAYAM courses.
• Collaborating with faculty to recommend SWAYAM courses as add-on learning.
